Summer Infant Bather
As a big city dweller, I was in search for the perfect compact bathtub for my newbie due to space constraints in an apartment. So, I decided on the Summer Infant Bather. At first, I really loved the fact that it was so compact, easily folds up and I can pretty much find anywhere to store it. However, I was disappointed with the use in the bath. The bather does not provide straps to secure my baby when he’s sitting, so I have to pretty much hold him up the whole time. Thus, it really limits me to one hand to wash him. Plus, my baby is squirmy, so I don’t find this bather safe. Also, it’s not small enough to fit into a kitchen sink so I have to use the actual bathtub in the bathroom. Even then, I literally have to fill the tub with water almost half in height of the tub for the water just to cover my baby’s legs, barely. I feel as though I am wasting tons of water. This bather is probably better for an older baby, maybe 6 months and up, but I still would think it’s unsafe without straps.
