Natursutten Pacifiers
Made in Europe, the Natursutten pacifiers made their debut in the USA and are getting a big applause. So, I decided to check them out! As a highly concerned mom about toxicity, I was so lured by the sheer fact that these pacifiers are made from pure natural rubber from the tree, Hevea brasiliensi and utterly and completely free of allergy-causing substances, artificial color, cancer causing substances, hormone disturbing substances, chemical softeners, parabens, PVC and phthalates. How great! Plus, the Natursutten pacifiers are CE certified, which means they conform to the European Union (EU) directive in this product area concerned with safety, health and environment. They are 100% natural, environmentally friendly and biodegradable. Best of all, they are hygienic because there are no joints or cracks where dirt and bacteria can accumulate. The downfall is that due to their natural quality, the pacifiers have a short lifespan. Not to mention, they accumulate lint very easily and believe me, it’s very difficult to get off. The Natursutten pacifiers come in two models: ‘Orthodontic’ and ‘Round’ and two sizes: 0-6 months and 6 months & up, which made latching on for my son very easy!
I have been thinking about buying these. I love that you have your choice of nipple!
I won one of these and although I loved that it was made from natural rubber, my son hated it. Now I can’t really say it was a design flaw since he never liked taking a paci, but he made an awful face when I put it in his mouth. I put it in my mouth and found that it tasted pretty bad, like rubber is supposed to taste. But other people’s kids love these, which I’m happy about because I love this product’s endorsement of natural materials.
