Pillsbury Crescent Recipe Creations and Thin Crust Pizza

No Gravatar

This contest has now ended, congratulations Ellen!

When I was contacted by Pillsbury to try two new products, Crescent Recipe Creations and Thin Pizza Crust, I thought to myself, “how could I possibly refuse? ” When they arrived, I was excited and decided to try out the Thin Pizza Crust that very night. I wanted to publish pictures of my actual creations, but they paled in comparison to the actual pictures of the recipes on the site. I chalk that up to not being a professional chef!

Barbecue Cheese Dog Pizza

Cheeseburger Pizza

Pillsbury Crescent Recipe Creations
Because of the vast amount of Crescent based Recipes, Pillsbury did something smart and created the dough without the perforations. I found this dough pretty easy to work with and found many recipes on the Pillsbury website I could try out.

The first thing that I tried were these Mummy Hot Dogs, which my oldest had seen online and been excited about.

Crescent Mummy Dogs

Crescent Bacon Cheese Tarlets

Other important things to note should you become a Pillsbury cooking fan… On their site you can create your own recipe box and grocery list!

Ok I have to admit it, I love what you have shown us already. I can already see me wrapping weinies in the middle of the night after work. They stopped selling the weiner wraps at my grocery store. And I often thought about trying crescent rolls.

And the bacon cheese tartlets have my 2 favorite ingredients, cheese and bacon. YUM!!!

Oh yeah, I need something from the Pilsbury site. LOL… The ones you mentioned were already the best. Anyways next in line would be the Cheese Crescent Trianges. Which got me to thinking about doing a varaiation on this with feta and spinich. YUM!!!!
