THIS CONTEST HAS NOW ENDED. CONGRATULATION GAYLE!

Not too long ago I reviewed a brilliant book by debut author Katherine Center called The Bright Side of Disaster. When I was asked if I wanted a sneak peak at her newest release, Everyone is Beautiful, how could I refuse? The book was sure to please, and please it did.
There are many differences between the Bright Side of Disaster and Everyone is Beautiful; however, some of the themes are similar. A worn-out mom that needs a break in life; someone ready to make a change; a woman finding something for herself in the life motherhood seems to suck out of her; loving the blessings of children while still needing something for herself. These are all familiar echoes from Bright Side of Disaster, and it makes this book absolutely relatable to any frazzled mommy.
I found myself wanting to sit down and get coffee with the main character. I had so much in common with her, from moving out of state for her husband to the everyday life of having 3 young children. All the characters in the book are sure to be like someone you know, and therefore so believable. The relationships between them reveal much about humanity. No one is perfect, but everyone is beautiful.

Since my little one came along, I haven’t had time for much reading. I’ll try to once in awhile when she’s napping or in bed at night.

it’s hard to find the time to read and i miss it dearly. i usually can squeeze in some time in the car when we are waiting to pick up my 13 year old. or at night after everyone has gone to sleep.

I read late at night before I go to bed. I hate that that’s the only time I have. My to-read list is sooo long – I am a book blogger so I am always finding good books to read – but I am slowly chipping at it.

I read late at night, from about 10:00 to 1:00. It’s the only time I absolutely know I won’t be distracted. Other than that, I read when I can.
