THIS CONTEST HAS NOW ENDED.  CONGRATULATIONS REBECCA C.

Revolution Foods? That sounds pretty serious, right? Check out the mission of this revolutionary food company:

“Healthy Eating In School. We believe that all children deserve access to healthy, wholesome foods where they need it the most – in their schools. Our organic lunchbox snacks and sandwich builders make it easy to nourish your kids with yummy, balanced nutrition. And when you purchase our products, you’re helping us nourish even more kids through our School Lunch Program, making every bite matter for all kids.”

When I was first approached about REVOLUTION FOODS I thought, what a great concept. Revolution Foods is not just creating a healthy food line, but strategically trying to revolutionize the school lunches of our children whether it’s through changing the food contents in the lunch box, or through their lunch food line. 1 in 3 children in America are obese. This statistic constantly floors me. However, it is not surprising! The more we garner information about the processed, fatty foods kids are eating in their lunches across the nation, the less we want our kids stuffing their faces with them.

Revolution Foods carries these great products:

  • Organic Jammy Slammies
  • Organic Mashups
  • Organic Popalongs
  • Organic Fruit Snacks
  • Organic Peanut Butter- Crunchy or Creamy
  • Organic Jam and Jelly
Go HERE to learn more about these products.
I tried these great foods and couldn’t be more impressed. They were satisfying both to my appetite and to my conscience, knowing that the food was organic, HFCS free and overall healthy.
Revolution Foods has two missions. The lunch box, and the lunch line. They revolutionize the lunch line by currently providing healthy food in the San Francisco Bay areas and part of Los Angeles. Also 3% of the proceeds from buying Revolution Foods lunch box food goes to help feed children in under-served schools.
Currently, Revolution Foods is coming soon to a store near you in Spring 2009. The Jellies and Peanut Butters retail for $4.49. Raisins Retail for $2.69 per 6 pack. The Unsweetened Organic Applesauce retails for $3.69. The Jammy Slammies Retail for $3.99 per 5 pack. The Organic Mashups $4.99 for a 5 pack. A large bag of the Organic Pop Alongs retail for $2.99 and the small bag for $.99. All packaging material is non-toxic and green. Really this is a small price to pay for the peace of mind of feeding your children healthy lunches.
Revolution Foods is letting us give away a LUNCHBOX KIT filled with product samples and a snack selector! To enter visit their site and tell us about the product you are most interested to try. For additional entries:
