Summer vacation planning is in full swing (a snow storm will do that to a parent!) But taking a family, well, anywhere, requires a lot of stuff. So I was thrilled to discover the Go Throw, a beach towel that is much more. Ideal for family trips to the beach or park (measuring almost 7 feet by 4 feet) the linen Go Throw is absorbent, repels sand, & quick drying… all the while easily folding up into size of just a newspaper. They had me at “repels sand.” What’s more, the Go Throw easily doubles as a blanket for early morning soccer games or after the sunset at the lake! (As if you’re not sold yet, check out the lovely assortment of prints available.)
The Go Throw was born out of a couple’s frustration with their run of the mill beach towels during a cruise. Instead of simply “throwing the towel in”, they decided to do something about it:
“In a humid beach environment, towels simply don’t dry. In addition, the cotton fibers collect the sticky sand, which feels like sandpaper when drying off. At the end of the day you roll up your towel and ‘throw’ it in your bag. It quickly mildews and upon unrolling spews sand. In addition, it provides a perfect environment for sand mites and other beach funk.
Hence the creation of the GoThrow”
As a busy mom, I’m thankful for their creativity and initiative! While the Go Throw is a bit pricier than a traditional beach towel, you are paying for high quality fabric and a long lasting product. I love our versatile Go Throw and am excited about the adventures ahead!
