Yummy In My Tummy- Organic Baby Food

THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. CONGRATS, AUBREY, YOU ARE THE WINNER!
I have to admit, I was spoiled as a baby. My mom made all my baby food. WHAT? True, she did. But me? Oh that is so not my forte… but I still want to make sure my baby is getting the best. What is a mom to do?
Answer… Yummy In My Tummy.
The founders are Karen and Michael Stanley. While introducing their “little tummy” to solids they realized that there was little being offered that was truly tasteful in the organic baby food department. Their research ensued. They knew there had to be a better alternative and set out to create it.
Michael with his extensive background in the culinary field hit the kitchen creating while Karen with her background in government used her researching skills to learn all the differences between conventional and organic foods. With all their information and recipies Yummy In My Tummy was born!
The expertise does not stop there! They teamed up with Chef James Casterlin whose resume includes being asked to serve at the White House! Between Casternlin and the Stanleys a team was born.
Yummy In My Tummy foods are organic and toxin free. The packaging is 100% safe and BPA free. Speaking of Packaging… can you say cute. Just look at them. They look like little versions of food you may pick up at your own local farmers market. Or at least the ones I know!
So how did the taste test go with my little tummy? MMM… MMM… Good. She seemed to love them. I was so impressed, I went to my local green market and asked them to start carrying it.
So how do you get this yummy food for your little tummy? Simply visit Yummy In My Tummy Store and get started! In the meanwhile ask your local grocery store to carry it!

Baby Happy Baby Sad is a board book with bright and precious illustration. A sweet bald baby is shown on each page. The left side of each page shows baby doing something happy like hugging a cat or getting ice cream, while the right side shows baby sad whether the cat runs away or the ice cream splats. This would be a great book for a young toddler to explain emotions and the basic concept of happy and sad. The only thing about this book I didn’t like was when it detailed bedtime as something sad. I guess I just don’t want to give my babies that idea when all have loved bedtime! Other than that, I think this book is absolutely great.
The next book, Higher! Higher!, is a hardback paperback. It shows a little girl with the same bright imaginative illustration being pushed on a swing and begging to go higher. The little girl goes higher and higher until eventually she is in space. I think this book is excellent for your young one’s imagination. I remember day dreaming when I was little and on a swing. I would dream I could go high like that into space. It really brought back that memory for me. Is the more reason to love it?

I was entirely pleased when my package from
Heather alsoo sent me Fuzzy Princess Crown Clippies. These too are absolutely adorable and I’m excited for the time when Avery will have enough hair to wear them!

When I was first approached about REVOLUTION FOODS I thought, what a great concept. Revolution Foods is not just creating a healthy food line, but strategically trying to revolutionize the school lunches of our children whether it’s through changing the food contents in the lunch box, or through their lunch food line. 1 in 3 children in America are obese. This statistic constantly floors me. However, it is not surprising! The more we garner information about the processed, fatty foods kids are eating in their lunches across the nation, the less we want our kids stuffing their faces with them.

In 2003, Dr. Paul Marciano (PhD. in child clinical psychology from Yale University) was inspired by his goddaughter’s coloring skills on her Christmas card and started
I received a ColorMe pillowcase for review. The Pillowcase had an outlined horse with a fence background on it. The package also came with a matching greeting card, a pack of 4 crayons and 8 fabric markers. My children thoroughly enjoyed creating their fashionable piece of art. It was easy to use and easy to explain. The product is recommended for ages 7 and up, but my 4 year-old did absolutely great with it. This was definitely a fun, unique afternoon activity.
Another great thing about the ColorMe Company is that they believe in giving.

So what is the deal with it being made of Merino Wool? Apparently, New Zealand’s Merino Sheep is an amazing superfine wool fiber that modern science still cannot duplicate. The degree of fineness and the wools natural crimp produce soft fabric laced with tiny air pockets that trap air and insulate baby on the coldest of nights. The fiber breaths extraordinarily well, absorbing and releasing moisture to cool or warm your baby’s body as their room temperature rises and falls throughout the night. Merino fabric will readily absorb perspiration and release it into the air to help prevent your baby from overheating and waking up damp. Because overheating is a commonly thought risk factor for SIDS, this natural property of the Merino Wool helps protect against SIDS. Merino Wool is also naturally fire resistant. There are so many other reasons to love this Merino Wool and you can learn more
