Restoration Hardware Baby & Child Clothing
Not too long ago we announced the birth of Restoration Hardware’s Baby & Child. They have not disappointed us so far in their line of beautiful products. Today we start with their organic cotton baby apparel. Their Apparel line does not skimp on one detail of quality. The fabric is supberb, the stitching is perfect, and the style is classic, yet sleek and modern, while still avoiding looking like baby versions of adult clothing. The only down point is one that will be true of most Restoration Hardware products… the price. This dress and pajamas are moderately pricey at $30. The sweater is most definitely pricey at $79. However, If you have it, you get the quality that will last several hand-me-downs later, and more than likely it will still be in style as well. RH Baby & Child also has a precious shoe line, all shoes running $20-34.
Baby Leg Warmers
All of us moms have seen it. It’s flesh between the sock and the bottom of your baby or toddlers’ pants that get exposed every time they sit in their stroller or is held in someone’s arms. Playfully termed “gapiosis,” BabyLegs tries to combat this growing pandemic with their very own leg warmers, and you know what, they succeed. Made with 80% cotton and available in an assortment of colors and sizes, you don’t have to worry about tugging at the pant legs of your baby or pulling up their socks any longer. Not only does the BabyLegs protect your baby’s legs from the cold winds outside, but indoors it serves a dual purpose as a preventer of rug burns as they crawl about. I’ve also seen moms who’ve used it as arm warmers. One warning: please advise your husband it’s not a large headband.
Baby Bonkie
The name of the product is cute (Baby Bonkie) and the styles are delightful as well with great colors and various fabric options. However, the Velcro closures are not durable enough to encase a fidgety baby or a larger-than-average baby (for instance mine). The snug blanket fits too tight, making my loved one look/feel more like a baby in a burrito wrap than a baby in a swaddling wrap. However, the lining is chenille making for a very warm refuge from a cold day. This machine washable blanket also comes available in a lot of options, with special attention paid to color details.
