If you are like me, coming up with creative art projects for your children isn’t always a breeze. I look online at some of these crafty mom sites and I am amazed at the projects moms come up with. Not me. Thank God for products like Eye Can Art. Anyone can figure out how to use these dummy proof art kits!
Eye Can Art was born a little more than a year ago as an art kit targeted for ages 4 yrs to 94 yrs. They were first sold in Seattle’s top toy stores. The first product line consisted of a printmaking kit, a wax drawing kit, and a sumi-e painting kit. Now Sum-e art is in 85 stores and museum shops in the United States. This year 2 of the kits won Parents’ Choice awards!
Now with the addition of the book in a box kit, the product line is full of crafty options for your children. All kits may be used multiple times. The material in the kits are both non-toxic and washable. Developed by professional art educators (Bridget Daly, Shannon Ninburg and Moria Blair,) the projects concentrate on concepts such as line shape, value, movement, pattern and symmetry.
I found the Sumi-E art project we were sent to review super easy to walk through with my children. It is something I would have never thought of myself. The kids love it! And it all came packaged in the cutest little paint can which made for super easy storage. This would be a great Christmas present idea for the children in your life.
