As Earth Day approaches it’s great to honor lines that are contributing to ways we can help make our lives greener!   A great new line of reusable diapers has surfaced and I am excited by it’s capabilities!  Thirsties Baby recently launched their new Duo Diaper, which comes in two sizes and lasts from birth to the potty training period!  In addition to how cute and trendy these diapers look, they come with some of the best details.  They are completely waterproof thanks to their absorbent microfiber terry and hemp insert and waterproof sleeve.  One of my favorite qualities is the fact that you do not have to remove the sleeve before placing it in the washer.  Thanks to both sides of the diaper being open ended the sleeve naturally falls out during wash.  This really makes cloth diapering a cleaner process.

I love exploring the market of cloth diapers.  I cannot believe the wonderful variety that is out there.  One of my most recent finds is a UK brand called Tots Bots.  I was instantly impressed by their assortment of reusable nappies.  My two favorites from Tots Bots are their Bamboozles and Easyfits!

The Bamboozle diaper is made from the finest East Asian bamboo.  It has elastic legs and waist for a leak proof experience.  According to Tots Bots, tests have shown that bamboo fiber tends to be over 60% more absorbent than cotton.  I would definitely say their bamboozle is soft and does contain the urine pretty well when layered with a few bamboo inserts.  What I like most is the slim fit.  It doesn’t give my son a huge diaper butt.  These are also naturally antibacterial.  These are definitely worry free diapers!

The Easyfits happens to be my favorite from the Tots Bots line.  It is a pocket diaper with the inserts attached.  This is great for washing and drying!  I don’t have to worry about separating each piece and aligning a large insert with a small and then stuffing.  The organizing and stuffing is the tedious work I do with my other cloth diapers.  The Easyfits is the closest to a disposable and is form fitting.  This diaper is SO soft and stretchy.  It fits my son perfectly and allows him to prance around freely.

Tots Bots is a great selection for cloth diapers.  I definitely recommend the line to those who are looking to make the switch from disposable to reusables.  Tots Bots also carries a few accessory items as well.  Check them out!

I have a variety of all-in-one reusable diapers, and also always looking for ones that are not too pricey. Sweet Pea Diapers are reasonably priced compared to the most popular of brands without sacrificing on functionality. 

Sweet Pea Diapers have a great waterproof, but breathable, outer barrier.  This modern cloth diaper cover is called PUL, which is short for polyurethane laminate.  It is incredibly durable and works fabulously to keep wetness contained!  My favorite feature of the Sweet Pea Diaper is their 3 snaps system, which gives you an array of snaps to interchange for different sizes.  I was able to create a perfect fit for my son.  Most snap diapers I have tried are either too loose on one area or too tight on another.  Sweet Pea Diapers can be used from 8lbs to 35lbs(infant to potty training).  If you are thinking about investing in cloth diapers, I highly recommend Sweet Pea.  You get quality, comfort, and a bargain all in one!

I have been using cloth diapers since my son was three months old.  I cannot tell you how much money I have saved in the process.  It was one of those things that I was determined to do and prepared myself for the worst.  I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it actually was!  People are always commenting on the fact that I deserve a badge for the work I put into using these. Little do they know that companies like Bambino Mio make it so easy for parents to transition from disposable to reusable diapers.

Bambino Mio Nappies are a well-designed version of the cloth diapering system.  You can purchase the outer cover and use cloth as inserts or disposable biodegradable liners.  I have the print cover that I use with a cloth insert and must say that I find it adorable.

I have found this nappy cover to be the best fitting from all other cloth I have used.  It truly has that snug fit.  However, you have to buy more than one size to accommodate your child’s growth. I prefer an all-in-one diaper.  But, with this you do get better form fitting with fewer leaks.   This system is on the more expensive side of cloth diapers.   Bambino Mio’s birth to potty set can run you about 500.00.  This is a bit more than other cloth diapering systems.  This is a top quality and eco-friendly cloth diapering system that I recommend.
