Name Bubbles

My son and his playmates are often participating in outdoor activities.  The older he gets, the harder it is to keep his items in one place.  With all the sippy cups, toys, and other belongings flying around, name labels have now become a necessity.  My favorite is Name Bubbles!

Name Bubbles carries waterproof and water resistant vinyl kid labels that can be personalized in name and design.  You have so many options for your child’s stickers so that your items are easily recognized.  They also make a line of Baby Labels that are waterproof, durable, and laundry and dishwasher safe!  I place as many of my son’s containers and drink cups as possible in the dishwasher, and these stickers haven’t aged one bit!  I’ve yet to see labels with this much longevity.

Once you decide which kind of label you need, it is time for the personalization part.  Name Bubbles allows for a variety of details for your stickers such as, Allergy Alert Bubbles, Mini Bubbles Shaped Bubbles (football, flower, car, heart), super sized bubbles, and more.  In addition to shape and size you have an array of color options.  I was a bit overwhelmed when designing my sons’ labels.  I could not believe all the options they provided.  We settled with blue, red, and white car labels and they have worked perfectly for his items!

As many of you mothers know, leaving a bottle or snack container at the park or a friends home can happen often, so personalizing your child’s things is imperative.  Whether you are dropping your kid in daycare or Sunday school, or sending your kid off to camp, these labels make sure their belongings are secured.

Name Bubbles is  offering a label pack to one of our readers! Simply visit Name Bubbles and leave a comment here with your thoughts and favorites!

Fiona Kate Boxes

THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED.  CONGRATS STACIE, YOU ARE THE WINNER!

Keeping a well organized home is easier when you have an attractive system of organization.  Australian company Fiona Kate makes storage boxes, bags, sacks, labels, decals, and more.  They are modern, sturdy, and very easy to put together.  When I received two of their cherry red boxes along with the chalkboard decal stickers, I was very impressed!

Fiona Kate boxes are made from corflute, which is a super strong polypropylene. They are definitely durable enough to hold some heavy cargo.  I turned my two boxes into a “craft box” and “animal box”.  I just slipped on the label and placed all the items in the appropriate spot and voila! – a beautiful storage system that is easily accessible!  The prices range from $13 to about $80 depending on size.  You can also invest in their starter pack for about $120.00.  This is pretty reasonable considering a few of their boxes can be used as table and chairs.  When you purchase a set of these boxes be sure to add on their adorable “chalk spot” labels!  I haven’t found chic, recycled boxes like these yet! I am totally in love!

Little Showoffs

THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED.  CONGRATS BREEZY MOM, YOU ARE THE WINNER!

I usually tend to avoid slogan tee shirts for my son because I find most of them to be more than a little over the top and rather corny. Subtle humor and simplistic design combined with organic fabrics makes Little Showoffs stand apart. I adore organic fabrics because the quality is usually much better than synthetic fibers and they are eco-friendly. I have seen pictures of Little Showoffs tee shirts in a couple of magazines and online, and thought I would give them a try. My son has the “organic baby” t-shirt and it has become one of my favorite tee shirts of his. The tee is made from 100% ring spun certified organic cotton in the natural color. This cotton is “noticeably softer and higher in quality than the carded cotton used by others”. There was a difference to be seen and felt when I had my son wear it.
Jacqueline Fair, mother of two, had the passion to create simple and expressive tees for babies, toddlers, and adults that said little showoff expressions. There are various sizes and different colors available with different sayings. Some of my favorites are “still breastfeeding”, “warning I’m two”, and “future artist”. You can also purchase a pair of karate pants for a complete outfit. I look forward to the day I can have another shirt made that says “big brother”!
