Does Mommy Love It?

Am I the only one who has a hard time finding the “perfect” diaper bag? Several reasons…For functionality, the style gets sacrificed. For style, functionality is lost. But then, I discovered the Mommy on the Go Diaper bag! When I took a first glance online, I thought they were decent- looking. After I got it in the mail, the pictures online don’t give it justice. I have never received so many compliments on a diaper bag that I have carried in the past as I have on this one. First off, the front pouch of the bag is removable. It is a bit larger than a wristlet and has it’s own strap. It can be used as a purse on its own or as a larger wallet for another larger purse. The front pocket acts like a wallet because it has slots for credit cards and IDs. The inside of the bag has pockets for sippy cups and bottles. It comes with a beautiful matching changing pad that is full of room for diapers and wipes in it’s fold out netted pockets. The changing pad when folded, is actually shaped like a little purse and could completely be carried on its own. The sides of the bag have great little pockets made perfectly to fit your cell phone or keys. The bag can be worn either with a shoulder strap or as a backpack.

Being the klutz that I am, I let a bottle with spoiled milk spill in my bag. That brought on two more tests for this fabulous bag. First, it proved to be waterproof. None of the liquid seeped through the bag! Second, it withstood machine washing! I took it out of the dryer and it was as good as new! (NOTE: They do not recommend machine washing but rather spot cleaning. As I could not remove the stench without a deep clean, I risked it and threw in the washing machine!)

This bag is eco-friendly as well. The outer lining of the bag is made with 100% recycled plastic bottles.
